Thread of Hope
Theme for the JDRF HOPE Gala
Like any chronic illness, living with type 1 diabetes is a life-long struggle. The donors who support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) are the “threads of hope” that one day we will find a cure for this life-altering, and sometimes fatal, disease. “Thread of Hope” was the theme for the JDRF Hope Gala in Indianapolis. A member of the Avant Healthcare creative team, seeking to bring home the human element of the theme, developed a creative campaign featuring three art pieces using nails, thread, and painted wood that were then photographed and digitally altered and used in promotional materials and slides before, during, and after the event. Additionally, we worked with an outside artist to create a photo-op backdrop in front of which attendees could take a picture to commemorate the event.
