In my previous life, I was a critical care nurse—I have “hung the bag,” carried the bag, and marketed the bag in the healthcare world.

I think I could really enjoy selling beauty products at Nordstrom but would be fun to be an attorney.

I spend as much time as possible with my family, especially my two boys. I’m regularly seen around my neighborhood walking our German Shepherd, Luna, who I treat very much as one of my “babies.” Our family schedule revolves around sports. During fall and winter months, we travel for my son’s hockey games and get to visit new cities. During the spring and summer months, I enjoy outdoor sports like tennis, golf, and swimming!
First, I can honestly say that Avant places a higher emphasis on culture than any other company I’ve worked for. Second, I’m in awe of the creative, scientific, and strategic talents of our diverse team members who collaborate to create industry-leading content for our customers.
For me, it’s a giant soy latte in the mornings and the occasional Cosmo for happy hour!
My favorite smell in the world is the smell of fresh tennis balls when you open the can. It brings back wonderful memories as a competitive tennis player in my younger years!

Traveling, driving country roads with the top off on the Jeep, and binge-watching TV (sports, documentaries, and reality TV are my go-to).
Besides working in a profession where everyone has the same goal: helping the end customer with a better way of life? It’s the people. The teamwork at Avant is unreal, where everyone is willing to step up and help whether you are super-busy or just having a bad day. The support is genuine.
