I Will Rise

Much like the honoree’s personal story at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Gala, the “Rise” concept is a gala theme about finding the courage, fortitude, and tenacity to overcome tremendous obstacles. The phoenix—a classic symbol of regeneration and rebirth—is threaded throughout all the “Rise” visuals. The overall message: every ending is a new beginning, and every beginning offers an opportunity to become better, stronger, and more effective. Our core visuals included a phoenix digitally imposed over a child, an adult, and a researcher—three different individuals that encapsulate different aspects of the struggle with type 1 diabetes. We created invitations, social media assets, cross-channel support, along with visuals that were used throughout the virtual gala.
